College Writing & Research Support

College work can be difficult. You don’t have to figure it all out alone.
When AI use is limited or prohibited in many courses, students still need somewhere to turn for help. I provide one-on-one support that helps students think through their work, develop their own ideas, and become stronger, more confident writers and researchers.

About
Individual academic support from an experienced educator
Hi, I'm Kim Gregg.
I work one-on-one with students who need thoughtful, individualized support with writing, research, and humanities coursework. My goal isn't simply to help students complete an assignment, but to help them understand what they're doing, develop their own ideas, and become stronger, more independent writers and researchers.
My background includes teaching writing, literature, history, interdisciplinary humanities, and research at both the secondary and college levels. I have also taught AP Seminar and AP Research and have extensive experience helping students develop research questions, work with scholarly sources, construct arguments, and strengthen their academic writing.
My approach is supportive, practical, and highly individualized. Every student is different, and our work together is shaped by what that student actually needs—whether that's understanding a difficult assignment, getting started on a paper, organizing a larger research project, or working through a challenging course.
Academic Integrity
Academic coaching is designed to support learning, not replace it. I can help students brainstorm, research, understand course material, develop ideas, organize arguments, and revise their writing. Students remain the authors of all work they submit for academic credit.
